I’ve been driving a hybrid Toyota Highlander since my tC is being fixed again.  Its an impressive car, spacious, refined, quick and averaging. 20 mpg.  Not bad for an SUV.  However, as I write this I’m stuck outside work waiting for a Toyota tech to turn up and jump start the stupid thing!  How can a Hybrid run out of electric so much that the car will not unlock, start, turn on lights or even acknoledge its own existence?  This only goes to confirm my theory that hybrids are bad, driven by idiots or just to complicated for their own good.Of course, all this is not good news for Toyota.  It pretty much rules out me ever buying another vehicle from them
