At Heathrow today British Airways seemed to be putting on some typically British show of strength to the other airlines. Outside their hangers, opposite Terminal 3, they had lined up five 747 aircraft. Rather than have them parked away or parked further off the airfield, they’re there in full show. With amazing accuracy and symmetry they stand there almost screaming “look at our fleet, and this is just the stuff we’re not flying today”
