After living in California for nearly I year it was about time I went to visit my relatives up in Paradise. Ken and Wynona really are great people. Their son and daughter-in-law, Tom & Monica have now moved back to Paradise along with their two children, Luke and Owen. So this really was a catchup with everyone. We were greeted with the usual hugs and smiles of the Brown family. The weekend was mostly spent talking about anything from politics to family memories or simply playing with the kids.
Given the long labor day weekend they’d decided we should go out on lake Oroville for lunch and some swimming. It was amazing and reminded me of the 4 week holiday I spent with them in Paradise, some 14 years ago.
