Disabled parking in the UK seems to be increasing. Before I start; I’m not attacking those people who need it and appologies now if I’m misunderstanding who use the spaces. While in town today I noticed that many of the disabled spaces close to the shops contains expensive cars. Of the 4 disabled spaces I passed all the cars had disabled badges displayed in the window. The cars were; A Range Rover, BMW, Ford Feista (ok not expensive), Mercedes E-Class.
Being contraversial, are these people getting disability which is paying for the cars? or is it a trend that disabled people are wealthy. I’d love to know. There is the case that if you look after a family member who has a disability then you can apply for a disabled badge for you car. I don’t know if that means you can only use it when the family member is with you but expect that is abused.
