This weekend was by birthday, however there was something a little more important going on in London. Matt & Sally who got engaged a while back but they were now having a joint celebration along with Sally handing in her PHd Thesis.

The weather was amazing during the day were we chatted and caught up. Sally had booked a floor of the Boardwalk bar in Soho where we started off the cocktails followed by beer.

A lot of the people who were there I didn’t know. These were people Matt & Sally have met while they’ve been in London (through work or otherwise). It was nice to see a place so full with people there to celebrate their engagement.

Paul Carroll even put in an appearance! Its been over two years since I’ve seen Paul but it was like yesterday when we got talking.

As the evening went on we moved down into the basement of the bar where they have a small club. As you can see, we didn’t stop drinking.

The night ended very late, ~4 a.m.
