Seen as I wasn’t going to be in California for my birthday Nikki decided to arrange for me to have two birthdays this year. The starting point was Levende Lounge up in San Francisco for an excellent dinner.

Nikki and I enjoyed cocktails and champagne as the evening got off to a good start

There was a good turn out for the evening, our table gradually filled up.

Shaw made it up from his convention to join us (and his wife Jess) for dinner.

Rudi, having jetted in from L.A. was on form

Chester turned up, sharp as ever, sat next to an entertained by Dave. The party also included Gareth, Georgia, plus Debbie later on.

One of the highlights at dinner included “Spicy Indian Lamb Mini Burgers”

As Dave will tell you there’s something special about Mini Burgers, normally from Denny’s. However, these combined two great items…Curry and Mini Burgers. This place was breaking new ground in the curry crossover world.

After settling our bill, and relizing the restaurant was turning into a club (it was by now gone 11pm) we headed for our next venue, Pink

Pink is a nice little club with pink walls and white decor. Just a nice little place to chill out or party with friends.

By the end of night I was exhausted and passed out.
