Something I didn’t know about the Thanksgiving week was “Black Friday” which turns out to be when stores have amazing sales on. The strange thing is that these sales start at 5 and 6 a.m. Now that’s weird, why not start them at a normal time.
I managed to get out of bed by 6:45 and be at Circuit City by 7 a.m. The store was crazy! The queue for the checkouts went twice around the inside of the store and everyone standing in it had someone else picking items up still. It made me a little sick seeing such greed and I had to leave. Thankfully, Target, Best Buys and Linen and Things were much better. My best purchase was a near $200 all in one printer/copier/scanner for $65.
Next year I might just try going at 6am.
