Driving with an Apple

Today everyone is running a story about the woman who was fined for drinking round a corner with an apple (Full Story). The Police spent a fortune on winning this case. I don’t get it. If they’re so worried about dangerous one-handed driving why don’t they stand on any major junction and stop and fine any one who’s smoking. What’s the difference between holding an apple and a cig.

Smoke or Steam

People who think that cooling towers on power stations are giving off smoke. Come on! It’s steam. Look at the stupid tall Chimney that’s got the darker stuff coming out. You people; that’s the smoke!

This picture shows what i’m talking about. Steam, it’s Steam coming from those towers on the left hand side. The only bad stuff comes from the towers on the right. (NOTE: There’s not much coming out of them)
The stuff on the left is steam, anything coming out of the taller towers on the right is 'smoke'
OK, so this picture is a little set-up, with the wildlife in the front, but it was the only good picture i could find of a power station. I guess people don’t normally take pictures of power stations.

Getting into a lift

You’re getting out of a lift and the people who are waiting to get in just can’t wait. They try and squeeze though the doors as you’re leaving. Why can’t these people just wait. It doesn’t help anyone and normally means there’s jostling around and actually delays them from getting into the lift.
