More Rally Planning

2010 will be the year of my Gumball like rally, that I’ve previous talked about.

3 days long, probably Saturday to Monday so we don’t have to deal with Friday traffic.
Limited to 6 cars
One driver and one passenger per car

There’s are two possible routes. Â The first is 560 miles out to Tom’s Place on 395, over the amazing Sonora pass.

Engagement Anniversary Dinner

We had our engagement anniversary dinner at Le Papillon in San Jose. Â This is a really fancy French restaurant. Â We got all dressed up to enjoy the experience and what an experience. Â We started with Asparagus soup then Duck for me and Steak for Nikki. Â But when we ordered they offeredÂ SoufflÃ© with Gran Marnier. Â How could we refuse, and it was amazing!

Thanks to Jessica’s parents, who gave us a gift card for this place a year ago for our engagement.

Is this really November?

Is this really November? I sat on the beach in 90F heat, ran on shorts and shirt at 8 am and was too hot and went to dinner without theneed for a jacket or umbrella. All this, only 180 miles from home, you could not have got better weather in Hawaii. I’m beginning to understand why some Americans never leave their state.

Obama as 44th president of the United States of America. I really hoped it would happen but was skeptical. As someone living in America and intending on being here for a long time I can’t vote, but have been so excited to see the election unfold.

Got Green carded

Was a bit of a shock to find an approval notice for my greencard in the mail. Woohoo. Took Nikki out for a celebratory dinner at Trader Viks and then on to Uglys
