Parents were in town for 9 hours
My parents were passing through SF as they finished their cruise and drove home. Â We went to Alice’s Restaurant for lunch before taking them back up to the airport.

San Jose Earthquakes opening game of the season

Saturday was the opening game of the 2009 football season for the San Jose Earthquakes against New England. Given that this is only their second season in the MLS they’re not very good. However, my lack of football since moving the bay area was too much to give the chance of getting an 8 game ticket pack.
It was a real good game apart from:
- Their star player is Darren Huckerby
- It poured it down with rain
- There’s not enough place to drink
- They lost 0-1
