Nikki has been talking about taking me to Rancho San Antonio hills to go walking.
The views from up on the hills are really amazing. We were lucky to get a good day with clear sky all the way over to Oakland

Went up to SF for the KFOG Kaboom. Tony was having a party the same day, he happens to live just across the street from the pier.
Had a great time, even though the trian took 2 hours to get to SF and we both fell asleep on the train and came scarily close to missing our stop.
If there’s one word that makes me cringe it’s the word “Rad”. Amazingly this word is still in use in California, “wow, that’s really rad“. I get flashbacks to the 80’s everytime I hear it. Since I’m incapable of using the word it seems I will never be able to fully integrate into California
Oh well, I’ll just have to carry on being “that Brit”!
Nikki will no longer be Curating at De Pedro Todd. The salon is being renovated and after that they are not going to have curated artwork that changes.

I really used to enjoy helping hang the art. Not only was it something completely different but also a chance to do some DIY.
As a warmup for Cinco de Mayo we attended Christina and Lares house party for their cousin Rui’s birthday.

Last night we went to Nikki’s friend, Lon’s house for a Cinco de Mayo party. The idea was to stay clear of the craziness of downtown San Jose. It’s kinda like when Eade finishes in Rusholme. We started with a BBQ, Mexican style, followed by drinking games. Later on it was time for some boxing, Floyd “Pretty Boy Floyd” Mayweather Jr was fighting. Not the most impressive fight though.
We then moved on to more games, playing Taboo.
This morning I found an old CD single hanging out in the bottom of my cupboard. It was Mr Oizo – Flat Beat. You all probably remember it from the Levi commercial feature Flat Eric. As with everything, I found a copy of the video on YouTube.
I wonder where my Flat Eric puppet when?
When approaching a junction you should change into a suitable lane well before the junction.
