Luggage Carousel

Every time i’m at a luggage carousel there’s at least one person who’s completely forgotten what their suitcase looks like. I’m not talking that they don’t know if it’s the one with a silver to zip or a gold zip; more like is it Yellow or Black!

So the other day I was stood there and a guy was picking up almost every suitcase that went past. He examined the airline label to see if had his name on it then place it back on the carousel. Now I just thought he couldn’t quite remember, but after a few minutes of heavy lifting he picked off a bright red case turned to his wife and pronounced, “this is ours!”. WTF, was he just checking to see if anyone else on the plan had the same surname or something…can people that stupid afford to fly? I blame the low cost airlines 😉 Only kidding.

Having been entertained by that to my right there was a teenage girl stood right up against the curve where the carousel goes back round. As you’ll know bags can normally be found hanging off the edge and you’ve got to watch your legs. A suitcase came round the carousel striking her in the leg. He let out a small ‘ouch’, stepped back to let the bag by then stepped forward. I watched in amazement as this continued for several bags. Thankfully her bag then arrived and we were saved from watch her receive a broken leg.

Things that begin with ‘B’

A friend of mine had a funny idea on the way to the supermarket the other day. We could only buy things beginning with the letter ‘B‘. Now this is probably not the most interesting thing but you’d be supprised how much you can buy with just ‘B

Our shopping trolley contained:
Buns
Big Box of Beer
Boddingtons
Bombay Saphire Gin
Beef Jerky
Burgers
Brats Sausages
Beer Sausages
Big Bottle of Beverage; tonic (yeah, that’s pushing the rules a little)
BBQ Sauce
Body wash
Brie

Before we could buy these items though we needed to go to the cash machine and get Bucks.

This was very funny, there were plenty of things beginning of ‘B‘ that we didn’t get.

Perhaps we’ll try ‘C’ on our next trip
